Stockholm Rose Designs was founded with a passion to create timeless and beautiful handcrafted jewellery in a more sustainable and eco-friendly way. With each design inspired by nature, owner and maker, Sophie has endeavoured to craft her jewellery in ways that do not impact, but benefit the environment.

With a background in Wildlife Conservation, Sophie has used her inside knowledge to create jewellery in a more environmentally friendly way for a more sustainable lifestyle. It is because of this that Stockholm Rose Designs jewellery is handmade with premium recycled metals wherever possible. Argentium silver is a premium recycled metal, with a higher content of silver than sterling. The recycled solid gold is ethically sourced from a certified company in Spain. Stockholm Rose Designs aims to work in a more environmentally beneficial way and avoid the human and environmental impact that unethical mining can cause.

Recycled Packaging

Stockholm Rose Designs’ commitment to sustainable practices is reflected in the packaging each piece of jewellery is carried in. The luxurious boxes are made with both recycled paper and sustainably forested paper, only adding to the beauty of minimalist ethical jewellery inside. Each order contains an organic dried rose and a polishing cloth to enhance the natural shine of the metals with each wear.

Supporting the Borneo Nature Foundation

Stockholm Rose Designs is proud to be a supporter of the Borneo Nature Foundation. A cause close to designer Sophie’s heart, the Borneo Nature Foundation works to protect Borneo’s biodiversity through habitat protection and reforestation. As part of her thesis while studying, Sophie conducted research with the organisation and saw first-hand the devastating effects deforestation had on the environment and wildlife in Borneo. When starting Stockholm Rose Designs, she chose to support them further with the important work they do by planting a tree for each purchase and sign up to the newsletter.
